Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick Canada, and a native of Northern Maine, Anne-Marie possesses a
Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E) and Masters of Arts in Bilingual Education (M.A.B.E. French) from the University of Maine at Orono. She based her graduate thesis on “An Analysis of the Traditional French Song and its Historical Significance to the Culture of an Acadian Community.” In addition, she extensively participated as a member in the Mansfield Symphony Chorus, Richland Academy Faculty Trio, Academy Singers, Adult Opera Theater, and Chanel Choir of the First Congregational Church of Mansfield, Ohio, where she was a soloist in numerous performances under the direction of Dr. Richard Wink.
With extensive private teaching experience in Maine, California, and Ohio, she is a former member of
the National Assoc. of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and has participated in numerous student/faculty
recitals and concerts at the Richland Academy, The Renaissance Theater, and Baldwin-Wallace College. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Columbia School of Broadcasting where she completed a course in radio broadcasting/production, and worked at a station of the Southern Maryland Broadcasting Corporation. Anne-Marie currently resides in Brook Park, Ohio.
