Angela Boehm founded Olmsted Performing Arts in 2003, driven by a love of theater that stemmed from her youth. Since then, Angela has fostered the passion and gifts of many, from directing young performers in the community and beyond! Starting with her first show, Annie, performed on a stage that was twelve by twenty four feet in a room that sat 200 people, to the elaborate sets and designs now used on stage in an auditorium that seats close to 850, Angela has created an atmosphere that discovers, nurtures, and showcases local talent.
Many of her students have gone on to successful careers on the Broadway stage or to starring roles in film and television. These successes and her dedication to her craft allowed her to branch off into other artistic mediums. In 2013, Angela started her own casting company, Angela Boehm Casting. Years of experience and hard work, her insight into the demands and needs of her clients, and an innate gift to find the right talent for each role, helped her to become one of the most prominent casting directors in Northeast Ohio. Her work includes White Boy Rick, Fast 8, Madtown, and much more.
