Lighting Designer
Job Responsibilities:
Properties Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to create the director's vision for the show
- Develop the properties list
- Acquire necessary properties
- Repair and store properties
- Develop a system to identify, store, and locate props for each scene
- Organize crew for set up of props during performances
- Sell screen advertisements, corporate sponsorships
Stage Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to create the director's vision for the show
- Recruit, interview and select run crew
- Supervise the cast and crew backstage
- Manage all backstage activities for the performance
- Prepare a promptbook that includes blocking information, cues, set changes, lighting and sound cues
- Arrange for properties, entrances, run crew, curtain, lighting and sound cues during performance
- Oversee hair and makeup for performances
- Giving hands-on training to students interested in the art of theatre production
- Sell screen advertisements, corporate sponsorships
Open Volunteer Opportunities
Run Crew
We are strongly in need of dedicated run crew members for Les Misérables. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, must be able to lift 50+ pounds, and must be able to attend all technical week rehearsals and performances. Anyone interested should email Cathy Hongosh at cathy@olmstedperformingarts.com and will be interviewed during a regular rehearsal time.
