OPA arranges for headshots to be taken by Cavanaugh Photography and only photographs taken by Cavanaugh Photography will be hung at the performance. Headshots not collected after strike will be discarded. Headshots will be taken at the Cavanaugh Photography studio on Tuesday, February 7 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. and cost $15 per headshot. This fee is NOT due at the time of the headshot; you will go online later, choose your favorite image, and pay for your photo.
Make-up headshots can be taken on Monday, February 20 from 6:00-7:00pm by scheduling directly with Cavanaugh Photography (email email@example.com) and for an additional $10.00 fee per headshot.

Bios are due on Monday, January 30 and will not be accepted after this date. Fill out the form below to submit.
Olmsted Performing Arts prints biographies of its actors in its show programs. In order to ensure that your/your child’s biography will be included, please make sure to adhere to the following guidelines:
- The biography should include a short description of past theater experience, personal interests, age, thank-yous to friends or family, or any other information you would like to include.
- Biographies should be written in third-person; if they are not, they will be edited as such.
- Olmsted Performing Arts reserves the right to censor your biography as it sees fit. In the event that OPA deems something you have written as inappropriate, it will be removed or changed before print.
The format of the biography should be as follows:
e.g., Jane Doe (The Queen of Hearts) Jane has participated in three shows, including Through the Looking Glass (Alice) and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (Cheshire Cat). She has a pet kitten named Dinah and enjoys spending her time reading and chasing white rabbits. Jane would like to thank the Mad Hatter for his guidance and support in her fantastic adventures.
Bios that do not follow the posted guidelines may be subject to revision at OPA’s discretion.
Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. bios were due on January 30 and are no longer being accepted.
Rehearsals will be held Mondays from 6:00–9:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 6:30–9:30 -p.m., and Saturdays from 2:00–6:00 p.m. All rehearsals before tech week are held at Olmsted Performing Arts, 611 W. Bagley Road, Berea, OH 44017. Actors may not be called to all rehearsals; checking your email regularly for changes to the schedule is important.
Tech Week Rehearsals
Technical rehearsals are held to allow actors to get used to the set, lighting, microphones and costumes. Missing, arriving late, or leaving early from tech rehearsals absolutely will not be tolerated.
Tech week for this show will be held from April 17–20 at the Elyria High School Performing Arts Center, 601 Middle Avenue, Elyria, OH 44035. Rehearsals will be held each evening from 5:00–11:00 PM. Younger actors (under 9th grade) who do not have principle roles will be dismissed by 10:00 PM.
