About the Camp: Glee Club Performing Arts Camp

Do you have son or daughter that is a "Gleek"? Then this camp is perfect for them! Kids ages 10–14 will get to perform some of their favorite Glee mash-ups and songs along with a script while getting trained in acting, singing and dancing from some of our OPA's talented directors, musical instructors, and choreographers. At the end of the week kids will get to showcase what they have learned for family and friends.

Activities will include a practice audition, acting games and activities, and rehearsal for the week's end showcase. Lunch will be provided daily.

This camp is for actors ages 10–14.

Campers should prepare a 0:30 monologue and 16 bars of music for their practice audition.

Where and When

July 16th–July 20th. The camp will be held from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM daily at the Olmsted Community Center.

Child care is available for two hours before and after camp. Pricing is 6 dollars for one hour or 10 dollars for two. To sign up for child care please contact our theatre education administrator: josh@olmstedperformingarts.com.

The Showcase

OPA's Glee Club Performing Arts Camp will culminate in a showcase performance for family and friends on the evening of Friday, July 20th at 7:00 PM.

Enrollment for the camp will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents/guardians of campers must:
1) fill out the application and medical release form and return by mail or to an instructor at the start of camp on July 16th and
2) pay the $175.00 registration fee online.
Both must be completed in order for the camper to be enrolled.
