Olmsted Performing Arts' mission is to instruct, develop, and advance acting, music, and dance skills, to edify and positively affect all individuals involved in our organization, and to motivate staff, students, and volunteers to work at their best ability. We seek to serve the community with quality and affordable entertainment and to create a safe environment. Our practices are designed to build character, build confidence, build relationships, and encourage creative expression. Our goal is to operate a successful organization without compromising our values.

Olmsted Performing Arts - What's New

Open Gym

Our philosophy with Open Gym is easy – Let kids be kids. Open Gym is a safe and FUN place for your children to practice their gymnastics skills in a supervised environment. Call in advance to pre-pay for your child’s spot or feel free to walk-in. Non-OPA students are welcome.

Cost is $5/child.
Wednesday 5:30 p.m. (not open to children under age 3)
Thursday 10:00 a.m. (for children ages 1-6)
**Parent participation required for children under age 3**
Saturday 12:00 p.m. (not open to children under age 3)

OPA Seeking Administrative Professionals

Olmsted Performing Arts, a performing arts center specializing in educating students in art forms such as dance, music, fine art, theatre, and gymnastics located in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, is seeking two part-time administrative professionals.

The ideal candidates will possess leadership experience in an office setting, will be extremely organized, and will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Documents is highly desired.

OPA & Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

Come support OPA & the Kiwanis at our Pancake Breakfast on May 19th. Advance adult tickets are $6, senior tickets are $5 and kids under 3 are free. $1 more at the event.

Open gym is 12:00 AM-1:00 AM (Ages 11+)

No food is provided but the concession stand will be open all night. There will be games, movies, a Nerf war, open gym and more! Go to the office to reserve your spot today! If your child is 6 years old and would like to attend we ask that a parent chaperone the entire event. If you are an adult and interested in chaperoning this event please let us know. Even if it is just for a few hours all help is welcome!

OPA Prom

June 7th · June 8th

OPA's first annual prom is the summer! For kids going into 9th grade through graduating seniors, this prom will be on June 7th. OPA will also host an adult prom for ages 18+ on June 8th. Tickets go on sale April 7th for $50 a ticket which includes dinner, dancing, and fun contests!

Peter Pan Audition Prep Class

May 23rd · 6:00–9:00 PM · $60

Prepare with a mock audition with the directors and producers of Peter Pan. You will receive constructive criticism and learn essentials of auditioning.

OPA 10th Anniversary Fundraiser

July 13th
7:00 PM
$15 adults (7+, $20 at the door)
$10 children (6 and under, $15 at the door)

OPA is a non-profit organization and, we need your help to keep providing the high level of instruction and programs. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary with dinner, live music, karaoke, silent auction, games, face painting and more!

Determined to save Wilbur, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte.

Main Stage · August 9-11 & 16-18

First produced on Broadway with Mary Martin, this is one of the world's most celebrated musicals. Here is all the charm of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the children Wendy, Michael and John, pirates and Indians, embellished with show-stopping songs, "Never Never Land", "I Won't Grow Up" and "I'm Flying".

Auditions for Peter Pan will be held on Saturday, May 25th. Sign-ups for individual audition slots are now open.
