Olmsted Performing Arts' mission is to instruct, develop, and advance acting, music, and dance skills, to edify and positively affect all individuals involved in our organization, and to motivate staff, students, and volunteers to work at their best ability. Enrollment for the summer session of music education with OPA, including private voice lessons, group voice lessons, and piano lessons, is now open. The summer term runs the week of June 11–July 26 (no classes the week of July 4).

Annie is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.
When Ren and his mother move to a small town, Ren is prepared for the adjustment period at his new high school. What he isn't prepared for are the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher. The heartfelt story that emerges celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind.
